What was your first bike?
A Blue Raleigh Chipper (I think) with 12” fat white tyres. Took the stabilisers off at 4 in our little Close, Hadfield Avenue.
When not working where can you be found?
Riding trails in the Cairngorms or diving, taking pictures of fish.
Favourite post ride food?
Strawberry milkshake
Turbo trainer or man up and get the lights / guards on?
Guards every time, I spent years on trainers so would much rather dress for the weather and get out there.
Pick any Boardman frame and list your dream build?
I’m always about the next thing! I’m working on it but it’ll be a CX bike with SRAM Red Hydraulic disc with eTap wireless gears (when they bring it out!).
Something no one would expect about you?
I’d say underwater photography but my life is pretty well publicised.
Your best memory while working at Boardman?
I have several, they all involve beer.
Your favourite ride and time of year to do it?
The Old Burma Road loop out of Aviemore, in late spring.
