With a lightweight 6061 aluminium frame and fork the URB 8.6's geometry balances heads-up visibility with agility and speed for cutting through town. A Shimano Nexus 3 speed internal gear hub paired with a rust-resistant chain give simple gear changes without the complexity of a rear derailleur, and powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes offer fingertip control when you need to stop quickly. 32mm Vittoria Randonneur Tech tyres have excellent puncture resistance but still roll fast and grip well, getting you to your destination on time.
The URB's contact points have also been given careful commuting consideration, with the lock-on grips and saddle made from our durable Urban Canvas material to shrug off knocks and scrapes. Mounts for full mudguards and a pannier rack mount mean the URB can quickly adapt to wetter weathers and carry luggage.
