Overview
MHT Range
The Boardman MHT range is designed to blur the boundaries between cross-country and trail riding, offering confidence-inspiring handling and control when the trail heads downhill, but without compromising speed and fun-factor on mellower routes.
Whether you’re planning to blast around a trail centre or cover big distances on an epic day out in the countryside, the geometry and design of the lightweight alloy frames of the MHT range have got it covered. Slacker head angles and longer reach compared to a traditional cross country bike, combined with 120mm air-sprung forks deliver great stability and traction. Light and efficient smooth-weld alloy frames with wide-range 1X drivetrains across the range mean climbing isn’t a chore either.
MHT 8.8
The MHT 8.8 uses the same lightweight 6061 T6 aluminium frame as the 8.9 along with SRAM’s 12-speed SX Eagle drivetrain giving a huge spread of gears to climb up almost anything. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give dependable, well-modulated stopping power when you come back down.
A 120mm air sprung RockShox Judy Silver fork is supple and well-damped, absorbing trail imperfections and pressing your tyre into the ground for maximum grip. 29x2.25” Vittoria Barzo TNT tyres are an aggressive cross country tread with a more reinforced casing and Graphene 2.0 infused compound that roll fast and grip well, and are tubeless-ready, offering a simple upgrade route to ditch tubes forever.
