Overview
A smooth welded, 6061 alloy frame with butted tube profiles sits at the core of the ADV 9.2 Adventure bike. To complement its clean aesthetic, the frames thinned tubes, and carbon fork play their part in reducing weight and improving ride quality.
In addition to its engaging and responsive handling, the ADV's versatility shines through. It boasts hidden mounts for full-length mudguards, fixings for a pannier rack, dropper post routing, and bottle and storage fixings on the top tube, seat tube, downtube and fork legs.
The Boardman ADV 9.2 benefits from SRAM's game-changing wireless XPLR Apex groupset. With a single chainring up front and an intuitive gear selection system at your fingertips, you can focus on the road, path, track, trail, climb or descent in front of you rather than worrying about what gear you are in.
SRAM's 11-44 tooth 12 cassette delivers 2x range in a 1x package! It features PowerGlide II technology that is more reliable, more durable and performs better thanks to it's tooth profile and shift ramp design.
Download the SRAM AXS app and you can even check your groupsets battery status, change component settings, personalise controls, get maintenance reminders and update firmware.
The Boardman ADV alloy wheelset is tubeless ready, designed to be run tubeless .. less. All you need is sealant and valves!
Goodyear's 40mm gravel-specific Connector is the ADV 9.2's tyre of choice. Designed as a fast-rolling all-terrain tyre, its versatile tread pattern with tightly-spaced centre knobs and aggressive side knobs delivers straight-line momentum whilst retaining grip demands when the direction changes or the route gets technical.
Flared alloy handlebars allow for an optimal ergonomic hand position on the hoods, more control whilst in the drops and facilitates more frontal space to carry additional luggage.
The Fizik Terra Argo saddle is designed, from its rails up, as a dedicated gravel saddle. A stiff rail system supports a compliant shell, designed to facilitate a degree of flex, reducing vibration and improving comfort. Fizik has opted for a slightly softer, more progressive foam than that used on their racing saddles, and when combined with the Argo's shortened nose, waved profile, and ergonomic channel, helps riders hold their position for longer in more comfort and pedal more effectively over changing terrains.
